REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Take a placement test. Students who are Absolute Beginners will not have to take a test, but will have to indicate no previous knowledge when they enrol.
2.

Fill in the registration form.

Option A: Pay with credit card at the International Relations Centre.

Option B: Pay by bank transfer.

Remember to order the transfer to the following account number: 0049.6659.03.2816134203 indicating your name and "Active Course". Applicants must pay any banking fees/charges for the transfer. Send a copy of the payment receipt by fax, post or e-mail. Course admission will become effective when the transferred funds are received. You will then be sent confirmation by e-mail

REFUNDS

• If a student fails to turn up in the first two days of the course, they will lose their place on that course.
• Under exceptional circumstances, if the student is unable to start the course, he/she should inform the International Relations Centre in writing prior to the course start date. Otherwise their place will automatically be cancelled. Under no circumstances will a student be allowed to join the course after the first five sessions.
• Students who have informed the International Relations Centre that they will not be attending the course prior to the start date, will have the right to receive a refund, under the following conditions:
 
- 90% of the enrolment fees if notification is received more than 20 days before the start of the course.
- 50% of the enrolment fees if notification is received between 20 and 7 days before the start of the course.
• Under no circumstances will the enrolment fees be refunded if notification is received less than 7 days before the start of the course.
• Students who cancel their place on a course before it starts may use the amounts paid to register on a later course for the same amount and in the same academic year. However, a charge of €50 will be made to handle this procedure. This transfer procedure may only be carried out once.
• In all other cases, the general enrolment terms and conditions apply.
• If a course is cancelled owing to insufficient student numbers, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
• Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment. The University of Alicante's International Relations Centre reserves the right to change these regulations.
